The web app, installable
SaidClear is a progressive web app. Installing it gives you a windowed app with an icon, offline access to your workspace, and exactly the same on-device transcription as the browser tab.
- On desktop Chrome or Edge: open the workspace and use the install icon at the right of the address bar, or the browser menu's “Install SaidClear”.
- On iPhone or iPad: open the workspace in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
- On Android Chrome: open the workspace, then use the menu's “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
macOS beta
The Mac client exists as source and builds locally, but there is no public release yet: it still needs Developer ID signing, notarization and verification on real hardware. When a release exists it will be signed, notarized and hosted on GitHub Releases, and the button below will point at it.
It will also carry a requirement the web app does not have: the Mac client does not bundle a speech model. It writes each finished recording to a local event log and waits for a transcription host you configure yourself on that Mac. Without that step it records and takes notes, but it does not transcribe.
Not released There is no download link because there is no signed build to link to. A dead button would be worse than none.
iPhone and Android
The native mobile clients are in development and have not been submitted to the App Store or Google Play. They are not “in review”, and we will not describe them that way until a submission is genuinely pending. In the meantime the installable web app above runs on both platforms and records, transcribes and syncs there today.
