Your meeting notes, inside your coding agent.
Import meeting notes and chats into Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code and Codex. Your agent can search what was actually said, gather action items, and build on every decision — not guess at it.
Six tools. One vault.
The MCP server reads and writes a plain Markdown vault — no cloud, no database, nothing you can’t read. Your agent gets the meeting context it was missing.
Ask what was actually said
Full-text search across every meeting in your vault. “What did we decide about the auth flow?” returns the exact lines — with timestamps — not a paraphrase.
Import chats and meetings
Paste any chat or meeting into your coding agent and ask it to remember. The content lands in your vault and becomes searchable in every future session.
Gather open commitments
Pull every open action item across all meetings at once, so a standup summary or sprint review never misses a follow-up.
Read the full context
Retrieve one meeting as complete Markdown — notes, transcript, action items — whenever your agent needs the whole picture before writing code.
See what you have
Every meeting in the vault, newest first. Your agent knows what context exists before it starts searching.
Ten languages, one vault
Meetings in English, Spanish, Hindi, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic — original utterances preserved alongside translations.
Connected in three steps.
The setup is one build, one config block, and one import. Two minutes, and your agent stops working from memory.
Build the server
The MCP server ships in the SaidClear repo as a self-contained Node package.
git clone .../saidclear pnpm install pnpm --filter @saidclear/mcp-server build
Connect your agent
Add one config block to Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code or Codex.
// ~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"saidclear": {
"command": "node",
"args": ["<path>/packages/mcp-server/dist/cli.js"]
}
}
}Import chats
Paste a meeting or chat and ask your agent to remember it. From then on it searches your vault in every session.
> Remember this standup: > saidclear_import_meeting ✓ > What's open? > saidclear_action_items → 4 items
One config block per client.
Pick your editor. The server is the same; only the config file changes.
Claude Code
~/.claude.json → mcpServers
{
"mcpServers": {
"saidclear": {
"command": "node",
"args": ["/absolute/path/to/saidclear/packages/mcp-server/dist/cli.js"]
}
}
}Restart Claude Code, then ask: “Search my meetings for what we decided on the pricing page.”
Cursor
~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"saidclear": {
"command": "node",
"args": ["/absolute/path/to/saidclear/packages/mcp-server/dist/cli.js"]
}
}
}Reload the MCP panel, then try: “Import this meeting I’m pasting and remember it.”
VS Code
settings.json → mcp.servers
{
"mcp": {
"servers": {
"saidclear": {
"command": "node",
"args": ["/absolute/path/to/saidclear/packages/mcp-server/dist/cli.js"]
}
}
}
}Works with the GitHub Copilot agent in VS Code. Ask it to search your meeting history before drafting.
Codex
~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.saidclear] command = "node" args = ["/absolute/path/to/saidclear/packages/mcp-server/dist/cli.js"]
Or run the server over Streamable HTTP: saidclear-mcp --http 8080 and point any MCP client at http://127.0.0.1:8080/mcp.
Questions people ask.
What is a meeting notes MCP server?
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server is the standard way to connect AI coding agents — Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, Codex — to external data. A meeting notes MCP server exposes your meeting transcripts to those agents as tools they can search, so your agent can answer “what did we decide?” from what was actually said instead of from memory.
How do I import meeting notes into Cursor?
Add the SaidClear MCP server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, reload the MCP panel, then paste a meeting or chat into Cursor and ask it to import it. The saidclear_import_meeting tool saves the content into your local Markdown vault, and saidclear_search_transcripts makes it searchable in every future session.
Can I search meeting transcripts from Claude Code?
Yes. Add the saidclear server to mcpServers in ~/.claude.json, restart Claude Code, and ask questions like “what did we agree about the auth flow in our last sync?” Claude Code calls saidclear_search_transcripts and returns the exact matching lines with their meeting context.
Where are my meeting notes stored?
In a plain Markdown vault at ~/.saidclear/vault (override with SAIDCLEAR_VAULT_DIR). There is no database and no cloud dependency: the vault is just files you can read, version in git, and sync across machines.
Does the SaidClear MCP server support all 10 languages?
Yes. Meetings in English, Spanish, Hindi, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic are stored with original utterances preserved alongside translations, so searching works across mixed-language conversations.
How is this different from pasting a transcript into ChatGPT?
Pasted transcripts vanish with the session. The SaidClear MCP server keeps every import in your vault, so your agent can search across all of them in later sessions, gather open action items, and read full meetings on demand.
Stop pasting transcripts. Connect them.
Record in the workspace, export with the Coding Agent button, and let your IDE work from the meeting.
